Easter Sunday

Happy Easter Everyone! We went and had lunch at Dick Lake Park today.

We are loving the sun in Rexburg recently. Yesterday Jeff taught me how to play tennis a little bit. It was so fun! Spring semester has just started. Jeff had his very first day of college everrr! He is enjoying his classes and all of his teachers are really nice, but that isn’t a hard thing to have at BYUI. We are both busy with school, work, and the dreaded homework. But I’m excited to finally have a homework buddy!
I quit American Eagle- couldn’t stand the commute anymore. I am now working at Parker Insurance as the secretary. I love this job. It is only 10 hours a week, but I can choose my own schedule, which is so nice. I am still keeping up with my Junior High students in my tutoring business & I have recently been hired by the college to tutor college students in math. Boy, is there a difference between Junior High and College! Note taking? Asking questions? Emails including the section and questions we will be going over in the next session? It is definitely a change, but a good one for sure. I finally have nights and weekends off though, so that is for sure so so awesome!!
Update on Jeff, the McDonalds Man: He is training right now to be a manager, and he is now an official Trainer!! He has a few more Saturdays of training, but has earned a special red hat and yellow landyard that he gets to wear proudly. He is so happy and I am so proud of him. After only 3 months, he is already training for manager. What a great worker he is! (Picture of his new outfit will be posted soon.)
Well, hope you all had a great Easter.
We miss you all!

These are a few of our primary kids. This Sunday was Jeff’s very last Sunday in Primary! 😦 I know his little friends are going to miss him so much– but I think I will definitely miss him the most. He’s so sad. Goodbye Primary, Hello Sunday School- Jeff got called as the 2nd counselor of Sunday School. He is crossing his fingers that he’ll never have to substitute.
I’ve been working hard at being Primary President. I am so excited about my new calling and have an awesome presidency. We are all excited for this new semester and are hoping for a few more kids to join the fun from all the new families moving into our ward for Spring Quarter!

Got Visitors?

As I have mentioned before, we have been so spoiled with all the visitors we have had recently! My Mom, Quincy, and Chloe all came up to Rexburg for their Spring Break and we had so much fun!
This is at the Rexburg Temple. It is less than a mile up the hill from our apartment.

Jeff constantly was calling the middle back seat everytime it was time to get into the car. Seriously? Who calls the middle seat??

My Mom and me. I miss her so much.

We found this really delicious restaurant in Rexburg called Pizza Pie. It is so good! It’s an all you can eat buffet of pasta, pizza, salad, and dessert pizza pies!!

When taking my family for a tour of the campus, we saw our little primary buddy, Henry. Isn’t he cute? Looks like he could be Jeff’s son. haha

We also went to the Idaho Falls Visitors Center. There was a photography display there. It was really fun, and on a such a gorgeous day!!
I’m sad that all of our visitors have left. It really makes me miss Washington. Jeff and I plan to visit this summer hopefully and can’t wait! Love you Mom, Quincy, and Chloe. We miss you already!!

Running.

Running is something I love, but has recently been forgotten ever since I got married. When my Dad visited he reminded me how much I don’t want to lose touch with my good habits. So I welcomed it back this morning- pretty painful I must say. The good thing about running though– it only gets better.

Visitors!!

My Nana and Grandpa came to visit us in our little home!! We were so happy to have them. We went out to eat, rented a movie, had ice cream, and played the kinect. (Yes, they did too.) It was so fun. We love having visitors!

We have been a bit spoiled when it comes to visitors lately. My Dad came down for a night as well on his way from Wyoming back to Washington. (I’m a little disappointed with myself for not taking a picture.) We took a little scavenger hunt around Idaho Falls and saw the places he used to live when he was single and in the military. That was pretty interesting– to say the least. He also took us out to this really great restaurant called Texas Roadhouse. Boy, were we full after we left from there! Then we went to the movies. We saw the Eagle. It was wonderful to see my Dad. We really enjoyed having him here as well.
Tonight we will once again get some more exciting visitors- my Mom, and sisters! I can’t wait to see them all. It’ll be really fun. They’ll be here for a week, and I promise we’ll have pictures to share with you soon!!
